Surendra Man Pradhan

Member

Surendra Pradhan has been a central banker in Nepal for over two decades, having working experience in the financial management, Foreign Exchange Management, Regulatory and Supervisory departments of Nepal Rastra Bank as the Executive Director. He had been the Board of Director of Securities Board of Nepal, the regulatory authority of the capital market of Nepal. He had also worked as member of Audit committee of Nepal Rastra Bank. He also had been the Board Director and Chairman of Audit Committee of Nepal Investment Bank, one of the prominent commercial bank of Nepal and Rastriya Beema Sasthan, one of the leading public sector insurance company of Nepal. He was CEO of Sunrise Bank Ltd for four years. His other involvements in the past include being the member of Nepal Bankers’ Association and president of Association of Charted Accountants of Nepal.

He has a Master in Business Administration from Tribhuvan University of Nepal and Chartered Accountancy from India. He has attended and participated in different trainings and seminars on computer audit of banks, bank restructuring through regulation and supervision, working capital management, financial policies for economic development, consolidated supervision of financial conglomerates etc,.

Art Uprety

Mr. Uprety is a Senior business leader with over 25 years of experience, of which 17 years in management consulting, including as Partner in the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and 8 years as a Senior Consultant at  Accenture. He is the Founder and CEO of Art of Management, which specializes in helping boards of directors and senior management teams in successfully transforming their organizations to adapt to the needs of the changing environment.

He has proven track record of delivery of value through strategy development, business and operating model restructuring, due diligence, valuation and post merger integration (PMI) across geographies and industries along with a long term experience of delivering training programmes on financial modelling and valuation .

He holds a MBA (IMD Switzerland), M. Sc (with honours) in Electrical Engineering (Moscow Power Engineering Institute), Certified Executive Coach (EMCC). DBA candidate (IE Business School, Madrid; research topic- leadership development in the context of business transformation).

Siddhant Raj Pandey

Siddhant has been a banker for over two decades, having worked with Merrill Lynch and Riggs Bank in London. He was also CEO of Ace Development Bank, Nepal. Presently, he operates in the world of Private Equity as the Chairman and CEO of Business Oxygen Pvt. Ltd., the first International SME Venture and Climate Impact Fund in Nepal promoted by the IFC of the World Bank Group, FCDO, Climate Investment Funds (PPCR)  and WLC Ventures.

He is Chairman of the  Agribusiness Incubation Centre (NABIC), under the Ministry of Agriculture and also Chairs the Nepal Private Equity Association (NPEA).  He is a member of the board of directors of Standard Chartered Bank.  He was a member of the board of directors of the Investment Promotion Board at the Ministry of Industry and also represented the private sector as a board member of the Investment Committee, Central Renewal Energy Fund, Ministry of Environment and Energy. He served as the Chairman of the Credit Information Bureau of Nepal.

He has a BA degree from Virginia Tech (USA) and MSc. from University of Bristol (UK).  He has attended Executive Programs in Global Finance at the London School of Economics.

Deepak Sharma

Deepak has been in the finance industry of Nepal and India for over a decade. At BO2, he leads investment and finance division working closely with the CEO. With extensive knowledge in all aspects of Private Equity, he is responsible for all transactions from investments, monitoring, exits, technical assistance and repatriation and supervises the investment team. He has attended international trainings on Deal Negotiation, Valuation, Climate Financing and Leadership. He has represented BO2 in providing consultation on PEVC regulation to SEBON. He is a member of the Technical Committee at Nepal Private Equity Association.

Prior to BO2, he worked with a Chartered Accountant firm in India and has experience in accounting, audit, taxation and project financing. He is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI and holds BBA degree from University of Pune.
